Product Description
The problem
Six is the age the easy toys stop working
A four-year-old is happy stacking ten chunky blocks. A six-year-old wants the tower to have windows, a staircase, a roof that actually pitches.
Give them something too simple and it sits in the cupboard by February. The set that survives is the one that still has room to get harder.
How it works
Every face is a magnet
-
Any side, any way
Magnets sit inside all six faces, so there's no orientation to get right and no studs to line up.
-
Finer detail
At 20 mm the pieces are smaller than chunky starter blocks, so walls come out neater and spires taller.
-
Six prints per cube
One piece is ice brick, window or snow depending on how it lands. Rotating changes the build.
Choosing between our two sets
The cubes are smaller. That's the point.
Both sets use the same magnets and the same system. The difference is piece size, and it decides which child each one suits.

Worth knowing
- These are smaller cubes. 20 mm rather than the 25 mm in our Graveyard set. Better for detailed work, harder for a three-year-old's fingers. The box says 3+; we'd say five and up.
- Contains magnets. Small parts throughout. Keep away from younger siblings and retire any cube that cracks.
- The theme is generic winter. Ice brick, evergreens, a princess, a prince, a reindeer, a snowman. It isn't a licensed set and isn't tied to any film.
- Cubes, not tiles. They won't connect to flat-panel magnetic systems.
- Non-woven storage bag. Functional, not durable.

Common questions
Before you decide
Which set for a 6-year-old — 100 or 150?
This one. The finer cubes and higher count suit the age that wants detail rather than bulk.
Is it a good Christmas gift for a child who has everything?
It's an open-ended set rather than a single-outcome toy, so it doesn't compete with whatever is already in the toy box. There's no finished model to complete and put away.
Is 150 enough for two children?
Yes, comfortably. Sets also combine, so a second box doubles what's possible.
Are the magnets secure?
They sit inside the ABS shell, sealed by ultrasonic welding rather than glue. Inspect cubes periodically and remove any that crack or split.
